HOW IT WORKS

  1. Press START. The demo plays and a 30 second tour shows you around.
  2. Start your own. Add your first instrument, or start from a beat in lo-fi, house, trap, pop, chill or drum and bass.
  3. Play. Tap squares, play keys, turn knobs. Everything is undoable, so you can't break it.
  4. Share or keep going. A video, a WAV or MP3, a private link, the Jam Wall, or stems and MIDI for your DAW.

Is plip really free?
Yes, right now everything is: no ads, no sign-up. plip is made by one person and kept going by people who choose to tip. If some extras ever cost something, you'll hear about it first, and the songs you made stay yours.
Do I need to download anything?
No. plip runs in the browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox). On a phone you can add it to your home screen and it opens full screen like an app.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, both.
Can I keep my songs?
Your jam saves itself on your device as you play. FILE keeps saved copies and your recent jams, and SHARE exports video, WAV and MP3.
